Perfect Disasters

What are the physical limits to nature’s fury? What are the perfect conditions that would create the perfect disaster? What would happen if six monster disasters hit six of the world’s great cities?

Perfect Disasters is a six-part drama enriched documentary in which we experience a different, but equally devastating disaster in each episode. Through interviews and actuality with scientists and extreme weather experts we find out where the limits of bad weather are and use action-packed drama to take us there.

Using the latest CGI modelling techniques we witness the skyscrapers of Dallas reduced to ruins by the biggest, most powerful tornado on Earth and see a massive ice-storm freeze Montreal to a wasteland. This will be as close to real as we would ever want to get.

Perfect Disasters was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series in 2006.

An Impossible Pictures production for Discovery, Pro7 and M6.
