Hansell Joins Impossible Pictures

Impossible Pictures is pleased to announce the appointment of Aidan Hansell as Head of Development, with a brief to expand the company’s specialist factual and factual entertainment output.

In his previous role as senior development producer at Wall to Wall, Hansell developed formats including the BAFTA-nominated series The Young Ones for BBC Two, Turn Back Time: The High Street for BBC One as well as the forthcoming Arts Troubleshooter and a new primetime consumer magazine series for BBC One.

 Hansell also worked on the ambitious Channel 4 reality game show Wanted, and produced and edited some of the most successful ever British reality series, including the first two series of Big Brother, The Match for Sky, and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy.

 Hansell will also be developing programme ideas with Impossible Pictures’ subsidiaries 360Production, Impossible Kids and Manchester-based graphics specialists Firestep.
