Jonathan Drake

Managing Director

Jonathan has worked in media businesses for over 17 years, starting his career at Video Arts before joining BBC Worldwide. He went on to establish a consultancy for independent producers seeking to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the new terms of trade, advising on and negotiating co-production and distribution deals.  In December 2006 Jonathan joined Impossible Pictures as Managing Director.

Jonathan is ultimately responsible for all commercial aspects of the business. This includes negotiating co-production and distribution deals, exploring investment opportunities and avenues for business development, ensuring budgets are met and driving the exploitation of the company’s intellectual properties. Jonathan is also Managing Director for Firestep.
